10102 fixes this on Ethereum. Your legacy lives in smart contracts, not in a company’s database. You designate who receives what, and the contracts enforce it.

This summer we improved across the stack: new contracts on mainnet, and a better experience on top. Here’s what changed.

Check-ins: manual by default, auto-renew for premium

By default, the owner checks in periodically to confirm they are still active. If they stop, the legacy can activate and beneficiaries can claim. This is how the smart contracts work, and it has not changed.

What’s new is an optional premium service: auto-renew from your own wallet activity. Your regular transactions keep your legacy current, so you never have to think about manual check-ins. It is a convenience layer on top of the contracts, not the contracts themselves. If you don’t subscribe, nothing changes - you just check in manually.

Dashboard: protection score and watchlist

The dashboard was rebuilt from scratch. You see a clear summary of what you are protecting, a protection score, and a watchlist that tracks assets even outside your legacy. Pricing reads from live market data with a backup source if the primary one goes offline. The number you see is always current.

Beneficiary claim kit

For beneficiaries, we shipped a guided claim kit. Recipients get a step-by-step path to access what was left for them. Legacy owners can prepay the transaction costs so beneficiaries do not need to fund a wallet first. This was the most-requested feature from beta feedback - beneficiaries often had no ETH to pay for gas, and the claim process assumed they did.

Guardian reputation on Ethereum

Guardian reputation is now public on-chain. The community can vouch for the people serving as guardians, and anyone can check a guardian’s history before trusting them with a role. This replaces the old private reputation system that only the app could see.

Open source contracts

The core smart contracts are MIT-licensed and open source. Anyone can audit, fork, or run their own instance. Self-sovereign digital permanence should not require trusting a single operator. If 10102 disappears tomorrow, your legacy still works - the contracts are on Ethereum, and the code is public.

Quantum readiness: know your exposure

Your legacy plan is measured in decades. On that horizon, quantum computers are expected to eventually break the signatures every Ethereum wallet uses today. Not tomorrow - but the timeline is shrinking faster than people realize.

The dashboard now shows whether your wallet’s signing key is already exposed on-chain (every wallet that has signed a transaction reveals it forever) or still safely hidden. You can also register a recovery fingerprint in a public, unchangeable registry on Ethereum - an early timestamp that proves you were the owner before any future break. Something a key thief can never fake.

We say quantum-ready, not quantum-proof. This is a head start, honestly labeled, and the enforcement layers come next.

Built for agents, not just humans

A new section on Home shows how to point an AI agent at our read-only MCP endpoint. Your agent can check your contracts and prepare setup links, and you always sign in your own wallet. We are building for a future where programs manage their own identities on Ethereum - not just people.

What’s new in Computing Legacy

The app at app.10102.io has come a long way since the beta launch. The headliners:

• 💰 Stake while you wait. Legacies and timelocks no longer sit as idle ETH. At creation, you can swap into whitelisted staking tokens (stETH today, more LSTs to come) — your inheritance plan compounds while it’s locked. Beneficiaries can claim back as ETH or keep the staked form, their choice.

• ⚡ Quick actions. Common scenarios (transfer to a trusted contact, savings account for a kid, multisig recovery line) now have one-click presets that pre-fill the form. Setup goes from “where do I start?” to “is this what I want?” in seconds.

• 🤖 Guardian, our in-app AI assistant. A privacy-preserving chatbot powered by Venice AI helps you design a legacy, walk through edge cases, and understand what the contract will actually do. No prompts logged, no profile built on you.

And a steady stream of polish you’ll feel even if you don’t notice it:

• Beneficiaries can claim funds directly from the dashboard — no more digging through detail pages at the worst possible moment.

• Multi-sig detail pages show both the current and post-activation signer scheme side by side, so beneficiaries know exactly what they’ll inherit.

• A link builder under Settings generates pre-filled legacy/timelock URLs — useful for onboarding family members or clients.

• Bring your own RPC, automatic provider fallback, and transparent pricing visible before you connect a wallet.

Enable a future transfer of your ETH to a trusted contact

Your family member or friend doesn’t have to be an advanced user — you can print a QR code that acts as a wallet for when the time comes. Simply choose how long you need to stay inactive for the transfer to occur.

Optional notifications can be turned on for your grandmother to receive the memo and related instructions.

Reminders of inactivity can be sent so that you (the owner) can reset the timeframe at any time.

Try it with a small amount while in beta, or use our built-in test mode on Sepolia, with durations measured in minutes for the playground.

Add future signers to your Safe wallet (multisig)

Your devices - or your co-signers’ devices - might get lost or hacked over time, compromising the ability to move funds from a multisig wallet such as Safe. You can elect co-signers in the future now, so that if anything happens as mentioned above, funds aren’t lost.

Not only can you elect more co-signers at one point in time, but you can design your legacy further with two additional points in time, making sure your funds are truly never lost.

This design can be useful both for your own future recovery and for your designated beneficiaries. We provide the tools with flexibility - you design your own future-proof legacy.

Create a savings account for your kid

Giving crypto that will likely grow faster than inflation to your kid is a great idea, but depending on age and maturity, this can be tricky, or even risky.

Similar to opening a savings account that isn’t accessible yet, our beneficiary timelock feature can help achieve the same result.

Simply schedule the transfer of ETH in a number of months you choose to a designated account you select, or create on the fly. Give the printed wallet to your lucky future winner.

Protect your ETH from being spent for the next 2 years

One way to act on conviction is to timelock your own funds and realize two major benefits at once:

• Your timing targets are programmed and temptations eliminated, providing peace of mind

• You cannot be forced or coerced into moving these funds, providing additional peace of mind
